    I know this is sold as a charm & it is lovely, the openness allows you to add a drop of sparkle too, but I also use this as a clasp with a trigger or lobster clasp. If you remove the jump ring you can use it as a link or connector & dangle some crystals from it. So many uses, & you thought it was just a charm! =^..^=
