The Xuron HWAC is rated for hardened wire,such as memory wire. It does not require any special cutting technique. This is an ideal tool for designers who need to cut a wide variety of materials. Use the Xuron HWAC cutter like any cutter: place the material between the jaws at the desired location and squeeze on the handles. Cutting effort is minimal due to the tools' shearing action. Cushioned Xuro-Rubber™ grips for comfort and Light Touch™ spring action returns HWAC to its open position.

Looked all around for a good price for these and found it here. The cutters are easy to handle and I have small hands.
Pros:
the rubber grips on the tool so my hands won't slip
Cons:
nothing

I have had many wire cutters including memory wire cutters, but I had a very tough time with a recent type of memory wire. Nothing would cut it without great effort and many tries on my part. I saw the Xuron memory wire cutter on Brightlings and figured I'd try it. To my great satisfaction, it cut right through the tough wire! I am happy to report that it did as will on subsequent tries. A good product!
